Hi there:

Thanks for your developing efforts. Your browser is really great and quite promissing. But there are must-have features it left out - while these are NOT implemented, I am sure you cannot expect (massive  Wink ) migration to it from other modern and widely used browsers, such as Opera and Firefox. These features are:

1) ALIASES OR URL ABBREAVIATIONS - these are short words (called keywords in the case of Firefox, and "nicks", as far as Opera is concerned) typed in the browser address bar to handily invoke URLs - it's a real pain to browse through a huge collection of bookmarks to find one you don't usually use and thus often can't remember. You see, it's easier to remember "qt" than "http://qtweb.net" (by the way, now and again I still type http://www.qtweb.COM in the address bar, even after a few visits to your browser site!);

2) A way to use (maybe as an external file, through a plugin, as K-Meleon is by the way able to do) or import Firefox and/or Opera bookmarks FULLY, that is, with ALL their "keywords" and "nicks", ready to be used for the purpose of invoking full URL addresses associated to their respective bookmarks, as mentioned in the paragraph above;

3) MOUSE GESTURES!, at least for backward and forward navigation... Please...

Thanks for your attention.

I Fully agree with this comment.
Bookmarks management with QTWeb is not very easy, and aliases would help a lot. Should not be too difficult to implement

Mouse gestures, the same as default in K-Meleon, implemented in QtWeb internet browser version 2.5 build 79
