Greetings;
I have been unable to log in to my Hotmaail account with QT Web (neither with the USB portable version or the installed version).  The site will not recognize the email address and password.
The MSN people have been no help.
QT Web will log into other web based email accounts, such as Road Runner web mail and GMail, so I assumed the problem was with the Hotmail site.

Works for me... try the new QTWeb 2.0 release.

Thanks for the reply, but 2.0 still doesn't work.  I guess it's just me or MSN.
I'll just give up on it.

I am also having a problem logging in but with Google. I enter my info and the page refreshes leaving the password field blank but no log in error from google.

I am using QTWeb 2.0 as portable.

I am also having issues with logging into Google. The same thing is happening to me:

I enter my info and the page refreshes leaving the password field blank but no log in error from google.

I am using QtWeb 2.0 build 051 on Windows Vista Business 32bit. I've cleared my cache but to no avail, and the same thing happens with the portable version. I have tried running the browser as administrator and it's still a no go, and I also tried compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2 and no change.

This browser is VERY fast and slick, but not being able to login to Google is keeping me from using it full-time.

Using default browser's configuration and English google mail, as well as Live  - there is no problem detected either on XP or Vista with a latest build.

Most likely problem is related to Cookies. One Qt problem was fixed in 2.0.47, however for your particular configuration it can be another one.

Please make sure that no Privacy Mode is turned ON, as well as no Cookies limitations applied in settings.

It would be very helpful for us to narrow down the problem, if you cleared all caches (full reset), then tried to logon to google, and send us all cookies google created on your machine after unsuccessfull logon (create test gmail account first to avoid sending your personal info). Your local settings - English? Gmail logon - from here: mail.google.com ?

Please try the updated version 2.0 build 053 and let us know whether your problem is fixed or not.

(A little late, I know)

Everything is working perfectly with build 053! Thanks for taking care of this issue. Smiley

A side note, QTWeb is the perfect browser for my Dell Mini 9. Feels light years faster than any other browser, including Google Chrome. Keep up the excellent work! Smiley

Hi.  Love this browser so far!

I can log into Hotmail, although when I tried to delete some messages it froze up on me. Sitting there, still.

Also I can't log in to wordpress. I log in, then it redirects me back to the login screen over and over.  I tried enabling all cookies, clearing cache, resetting, restarting, but same problem.  Same on QTW install and portable.

I don't have privacy mode turned on.

I have no problems logging in to either site with Firefox and doing whatever I need.

Try QtWeb Internet Browser version 2.5.

It has Compatibility toolbar button, choose Safari or Chrome, it should set proper UserAgent and Hotmail displays no warnings thereafter, at least my Hotmail works fine.

Yes.  Alex's suggestion works with Hotmail.   Smiley

Still a little slow, but I guess you can't have everything.

Thank You.
