Following links to webpages
Clicking links is the fastest way to move around on the web.
Here are places you'll find useful links:
- Webpages
- Bookmarks
- Email messages and address books
- Other documents
There are very few dead-ends on the web. Most pages are linked to several other pages. Click them to move around.
Links appear in the bookmarks bar across the top of the QtWeb window and in the Bookmarks menu. Click the open-book icon to see more.
People often send links in email messages. Click these only if you trust the source. If you use an address book program, it may contain links for some of your contacts.
Documents that aren't webpages can contain links. Often these links are "live" and you can click them to open webpages. If you see something that looks like a web address but it's not clickable, try this: Highlight it, copy it, paste it into QtWeb's address field, and press Enter. If it's a valid address it will open.
To open a link in a new window, right-click the link and choose "Open in New Window" from the context menu.
