Customizing the QtWeb window
The QtWeb window has a main menu and four toolbars, three along the top and one along the bottom. You can hide or show the menu and these bars, and customize or rearrange them.
To change the bars:
- To hide or show a bar, choose View > Hide or Show Bookmarks Bar, Tab Bar, Menu Bar, Navigation Bar, or Status Bar. If a bar is hidden, its View menu option changes to Show.
- To rearrange the bookmarks bar, click Show All Bookmarks from Bookmarks menu, and then drag the bookmarks back and forth, or just drag bookmark and drop it to another place on the bookmarks bar.
- To customize menu titles and shortcuts, click Preferences toolbar button, go to Advanced tab, click Advanced Customization checkbox and click Menus and Shortcuts
- To customize the main toolbar (Navigation Bar), choose Edit > Preferences, click Appearance tab; then click the buttons you want to show or hide.
Note
If Menu Bar is hidden, you still can access most of functionality via shortcuts and toolbar buttons. To unhide Menu Bar - press Ctrl+Shift+M, or click Preferences toolbar button, go to Appearance tab, and select Display the Menu Bar and Menu Icons from the Main Menu options.
