Tabbed browsing

Tabbed browsing lets you view multiple webpages as a set of tabs within the QtWeb window.

To view the tab bar if it's hidden: Choose View > Show Tab Bar. The tab bar is visible as long as you have multiple tabs. You can hide the tab bar if only a single tab is open.

There are several keyboard and mouse shortcuts you may want to use while browsing in tabs.

Shortcut

Open a page in a new tab

Press Control, and click a link or bookmark

Open a page in a new tab, and bring it to the front

Press Control-Shift, and click a link or bookmark

Open a page in a new tab with mouse

Click the link with a middle mouse button or trackball

Move to the next tab

Control-Tab

Select previous tab

Control-Shift-Tab

Switch to a specific tab number

Control-N (N can be 1-9)

Close the tab

Click the middle mouse button or trackball on it
